What I love about teaching at SPX is the feeling of community each time I walk through the doors.  We (parents/staff) are all here for one common goal and that is to offer the best educational experience with Catholic faith, leadership skills and sense of family.

Lesly Lamb (Arts Teacher)

This is my 4th year at St. PiusX

I enjoy sharing my passion for art, creative drama, storytelling and movement with the St. Pius student body because they are eager to learn new things, and use their imaginations in myriad ways.

I have a Masters Degree in Education and spent a decade as a professional performer on cruise ships and resorts all over the United States. I have also taught for two years in Bogota, Columbia  and moved to Indianapolis from Charleston SC where I taught in  fine arts programs for 15 years. I look forward to tapping into and encouraging the creative potential and Godly spirits of all the children at St. Pius X.

“Art should be something that liberates the soul, provokes the imagination and encourages people to go further…it celebrates humanity.

I love teaching at St. Pius X because it is more than a school, it is a community and family.  The students are amazing, the staff is supportive and the parents are involved.  I don't know what more a teacher could ask for.
I grew up in Speedway before going to college at Ball State University.  I earned my Master's degree from the University of Indianapolis in 2011 and have been working in education ever since.

I have taught at Saint Pius for 28 years.
I love that I am a  part of preparing the children for their First Reconciliation and their First Eucharist.  Each year I an experience a renewal of my faith  when I see the children’s faces after they have received each of the sacraments.  Their faces so a sense of peace and joy.
Teaching at St. Pius is as if I am teaching my own children.  St. Pius is a family.  Everyone is here to help with whenever anyone needs a hand or encouragement to keep going when things are hard and an understanding of our differences.
It has been a pleasure and such fun these 28 years.

I love teaching at St. Pius X because of the students and community that we have here.  I have taught at other schools and the students here are all amazing kids.  We hold the students here to a high standard and they really show that they are capable of performing at this level.  The support teachers get from parents and staff is also something that you don’t get at other schools.
